? At the heart of the land… where Artificial Intelligence meets agriculture, the strongest agricultural robotics challenge at Benha University begins! ?

? AI FARM – Smart Agriculture Robot Challenge

Your Mission:
Design a smart agricultural robot that can “read” the soil by itself and decide when irrigation is needed—and when it is not.

? Watch the explanatory video

? What Does Your Robot Need to Do?

  • ? Measure soil moisture using an onboard sensor.

  • ? Irrigate dry soil with only 3 to 5 drops of water—no more.

  • ? Identify already-irrigated soil and avoid watering it. Making the correct decision earns 20 points.

  • ? Remove the weed and plant the seed in its place.

  • ? Return to the starting point before time runs out.

⏱️ 240 seconds only… and 150 points are at stake!

⚙️ Challenge Requirements

  • ? A team of 2 to 5 students + 1 supervisor.

  • ? Robot dimensions must not exceed 250 × 250 × 250 mm.

  • ? The robot must determine whether the soil is dry or irrigated by taking its own measurement. The answer cannot be pre-programmed.

3 Attempts – Only the Highest Score Counts!

AI HEALTH CARE – Hospital Delivery Robot Challenge

? The Robot’s Mission

The robot must be able to:

  • Follow the black line autonomously inside the hospital.

  • Reach the pickup station and stop at the Action Marker.

  • Pick up the medical package using the Gripper.

  • Read the room card color using a Color Sensor.

  • Determine the correct route and navigate to the designated patient’s room.

  • Deliver the package accurately within the designated delivery area.

  • Return to the Pack Zone and successfully complete the mission.

⏱️ You have only 240 seconds… and a perfect score of 100 points is waiting for the best-performing robot!

⚙️ Challenge Requirements

  • Team: 2–5 students + 1 supervisor.

  • The robot must be fully autonomous, with no Remote Control or wireless communication.

  • Maximum robot dimensions: 250 × 250 × 250 mm.

  • The robot must rely on line following, color detection, and Gripper control to complete the mission.

⭐ Bonus Points

Additional points are awarded if the robot:

✅ Reads the room card autonomously.
✅ Completes the entire round without a restart.

⚡ Competition Format

  • 3 rounds will be conducted.

  • The highest score achieved will be counted.
