Student Union
Student activities play a crucial role in achieving the goals and objectives of education by fostering well-rounded individuals characterized by dialogue, communication, and balance. These activities enhance students' abilities, creativity, and innovation.
Each academic year, student union members are elected to organize various activities, represent students’ opinions, and participate in college initiatives to improve academic and social systems. Additionally, student societies actively contribute to these activities. One of the most vital initiatives under student welfare is the Social Solidarity Fund, supporting around 2,000 students out of a total of 7,000 enrolled at the college. This support includes financial and material assistance funded by the university, a portion of students' fees, or donations from individuals and organizations. Applications are submitted to the student welfare officer, who presents them to the fund's governing council, chaired by the Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs. Aid is distributed in installments to eligible students based on the fund’s criteria.
