The Civil Engineering Department at Shoubra Faculty of Engineering, Benha University, was established in 1982. Since its inception, it has become one of the leading academic departments contributing to the advancement of engineering education in Egypt. The department offers two main academic programs:

  1. General Civil Engineering Program (Civil - General): This program provides in-depth study in various aspects of civil engineering, including infrastructure, road design, and water and wastewater project management.

  2. Structural Engineering Program (Civil - Structures): This program focuses on the design and construction of engineering structures such as buildings, bridges, and concrete and steel structures.
