Eligibility Requirements for Union Elections
Student union elections are held annually, during which members of the union are elected to oversee and implement various student activities. The union represents students’ opinions, assists in organizing college initiatives, and fosters the growth of student activities. Student activities are also carried out through student societies that actively participate in enhancing these initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria for Student Union Candidacy:

Must hold Egyptian nationality.

Must be a new (enrolled) student in their respective academic year.

Must demonstrate good character and a positive reputation.

Must have paid the union membership fees.

Must be actively engaged in the committee they are applying for.
Responsibilities of the Student Union Council:

Provide general oversight of student activities within the college.

Develop the vision and direction of the union based on the programs proposed by the committees.

Review and approve work programs and plans submitted by the activity committees.

Ensure the effective execution of programs by the activity committees.

Allocate financial resources across different committees.

Approve the activity budgets.
-
Prepare and present comprehensive final reports on activities conducted.
