The President of Benha University, the Governor of Damietta, and the Dean of Shubra Faculty of Engineering participated in the launch of the Land and Urban Management Education Modernization Project in the Southern Mediterranean.

The project is funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ program and involves a consortium of 10 universities and institutes from five countries worldwide:

Two episodes of the television program Haga Tefrah, broadcast on Misr Agricultural Channel, were filmed at the Faculty of Engineering at Shoubra.

The first episode focused on the Ministry of Higher Education’s support for innovative projects. It featured Prof. Dr. Gamal Abdel Aziz, Dean of the Faculty, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Gamiel, Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim, Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department.
