The purpose of the visit was to provide training and employment opportunities for graduates of the Geomatics Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering – Shoubra, at Safeen Survey and Subsea, a company specialized in Hydrographic Survey, Geotechnical, ROV, and Subsea Operations, headquartered in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
During the visit, the delegation conducted interviews with 37 graduates of the Geomatics Engineering Department, with the aim of selecting candidates for training and employment in the company’s projects.
The Dean of the Faculty emphasized, during his meeting with the representatives of the Emirati company, the strong ties between Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, as well as the long-standing reputation of the faculty and the excellence of its graduates and academic programs—particularly the Geomatics Engineering program. The meeting also addressed the possibility of developing certain academic courses to better align with the labor market needs in the Gulf region and Europe.
