? Announcement of the Final Results of the Innovative Bridge Competition (IBC) 2026
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saeed Abdel Ghafar, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Shoubra, the Faculty of Engineering at Shoubra – Benha University has concluded the Innovative Bridge Competition (IBC) 2026, with outstanding participation from 18 teams representing 11 Egyptian universities. The competition showcased a high level of creativity, innovation, and engineering excellence.
The competition witnessed strong and enthusiastic challenges among the participating teams, as students presented innovative engineering models that demonstrated their scientific and practical skills, as well as their ability to work collaboratively. The projects were evaluated by a specialized judging committee comprising distinguished Civil Engineering professors from various Egyptian universities, who assessed the projects according to approved technical and engineering criteria.

The administration of the Faculty of Engineering at Shoubra extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to all participating teams, members of the judging committee, partners and sponsors, and everyone who contributed to organizing and successfully conducting this distinguished event. The competition reflects the Faculty’s commitment to supporting innovation, developing engineering skills, and encouraging students to pursue creativity and constructive competition.
We also emphasize that all participating teams demonstrated an impressive level of performance that deserves recognition and appreciation, and that the spirit of competition, commitment, and teamwork witnessed throughout the event was a source of great pride.
