The Researcher/ Aya Hammam Ragab, from the Faculty of Law, Benha University has presented a research study to the Sector of Post Graduate Studies and Researches about "Green Economy as a Tool for Achieving Sustainable Development in the light of Environmental Security Crises and Climate Change". The Researcher said that the study aims to know the role of the green economy as one of the recent development programs in achieving sustainable development and preserving natural resources in Egypt, noting that the study clarifies the mechanisms of protecting environmental security in the light of international policies and Egyptian legislations.

Under the auspices of Dr. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President; Dr. Randa Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs and Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches' Affairs opened the events of the Annual Scientific Conference for the Faculty of Science under the title of "Applied Sciences and Sustainable Development" in the presence of Dr. Lotfy Abu Salem, the Faculty Dean and the Conference President; Dr. Nehad Elbarqy, the Faculty Vice-dean for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs and the Conference Vice-president.
