Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University "BU" Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs participated and represented BU, on behalf of the BU President, in the 6th Executive Office meeting of the University Alliance of the Silk Road "UASR".
The meeting was held during the final events of the Annual Forum of the UASR Presidents which hosted online by Xi'an Jiaotong University - China and Politecnico di Milano - Italy in the duration from November23 to 27, 2020.

Benha University is participating in the Annual Forum of the University Alliance of the Silk Road "UASR" Presidents, as Member of the Executive Office of the Alliance, which hosted online by Xi'an Jiaotong University - China and Politecnico di Milano - Italy in the duration from November23 to 27, 2020 and with participation of 60 universities from all over the world who are members of the Alliance.
It is worth mentioning that Benha University is represented by Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs on behalf of Prof. Gamal El Saeed - the University President.
In this regard, El Gizawy said that the Forum will discuss during its holding days many important topics, including the mission of universities and their role in community security, how the Corona epidemic effects on the future of universities, the security of natural systems, the economic and social impact of natural disasters including the effects of epidemics and climate changes, in addition to the security of cyberspace and its relationship with protect privacy, security for the public health, and Coronavirus prevention.

Prof. Dr. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President said the University has received an invitation as member of the Executive Office for the University Alliance of the Silk Road (UASR) to participate in the free virtual summer courses 2020 for university teachers and students. He added, this invitation comes in the frame of closing the cross-border between countries due to the COVID-19 pandemic referring the courses will cover several fields like energy, mechanism, materials, medicine, architectural design, and others.
