The Faculty and Leadership Development Center "FLDC" at Benha University has held a workshop for faculty members about the scientific research outputs marketing withing the training programs provided by the Center during current August. Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs said that the workshop discussed the scientific research outputs marketing and the role of technology valleys, technological incubators and the startup companies in achieving the knowledge economy by converting creative ideas into wealth in the light of the incentives law for science, technology and innovation.
Scientific Research at BU on "Hybrid Electric Power"
Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches' Affairs pursued at the Faculty of Engineering in Benha one of the research projects funding by the University and aiming to produce renewable energy.
El Gizawy said that research project aims to produce hybrid electric power units from solar and wind energies that can be used in tourist villages on the northern coast or on the Red Sea coast.

Prof.Dr. Khalid Abd El-Gafer, the minister of higher education inaugurates, on Thursday at 10 a.m., the activities first forum of developing the education which is held from 22-2-2017 to 25-2-2017. This event is attended by prof.Dr. EL-Sayed El-kady, the university president, the general/ Mahmoud Ashmawy, the Qulubia governor, prof.Dr. Tarek Shawky, the minister of education, many universities’ presidents and their deputies, the faculties’ deans, the representatives of the parliamentary committees of the Republic presidency, the faculties’ members, the researchers, the students and the civil community representatives. The minster asserts that this forum is a good occasion not only for exchanging experiences, experiments, and visions among the universities of Egypt to develop the education but also for cementing the relationships among them and getting to know the mechanisms of the thinking of the Egyptian universities affiliates.
The Faculties’ Members Discuss How to Develop the Higher Education and the Scientific Research in Benha University’s leaders council
Benha University’s leaders council discusses, in its weekly meeting which is held under the supervision of prof.Dr. EL-Sayed El-kady, the university president, the vision of how to develop the higher education and the scientific research. Prof.Dr. Eman El-Bitar, the head of hygiene department in the faculty of medicine and the member of the assigned team to present such a vision. This team includes 54 lecturers, assistant lecturers and professors in the university and the tem is headed by prof. Dr. Muhammad Abu Slim, the dean of veterinary medicine and prof. Dr. Ezat el-khiat, the head of the faculties’ members club in the university. The council heaps praise on what the team has agreed upon regarding qualifying the students to meet the demands of the labor market, the reasons why the students refrain from participating in the activities, preparing new curriculums which meet the demands of the labor market, developing the current curriculums in order to develop the educational process and increasing the salaries of the faculties’ members without burdening the state.
