BU looks for Cooperation with AUC

In the frame of Benha University's "BU" policy to open up to local, regional and international universities for maximizing the partnership opportunities between them, BU International Relations Office has organized a webinar with the American University in Cairo "AUC" under the auspices of Prof. Gamal El Saeed - BU President.
The participants in the webinar from BU are: Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, BU Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs; Prof. Hala Zayed, the Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence; Prof. Mahran El Naggar, the Director of the International Relations Office; and Prof. Abdel Samiee Halawa, from the Faculty of Medicine.
The participants in the webinar from AUC are: Prof Ehab Abdel Rahaman, the AUC Vice-president; Prof. Alaa Idrees, the Deputy Assistant for Scientific Research; Prof. George Marqes, the Dean of Students' Affairs; and Prof. Ahmed Abdel Latif.
El Gizawy said that the webinar discussed the ways of cooperation between BU and AUC at the level of academic programs, scientific research, innovation and creativity, in order to maximize the use of the financial and human potentials of the both universities.
In the same context, AUC invited some professors with students from BU to visit it to identify the opportunities available in it, the nature of study and the various fields of scientific research.

Research Cooperation between BU and the University of Bristol

Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches' Affairs said that a group of scientists from the University of Bristol and Benha University used salt water to cool the photovoltaic units with the aim of developing a system for cooling solar cells by using materials saturated with sea water adding that this development came after a series of scientific papers published by same research team using pure water.
It is worth mentioning that the two Universities signed last July a memorandum of understanding within the framework of joint cooperation between them in the academic and research fields.

 Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-kady, the university president starts his official visit to the united Arab of Emirates to attend the Arab Universities conference in Dubai. The university president asserts that the issue of developing education has been discussed with the officials of the El-Ein University in addition to discussing the stduents exchange among the universities. The university president announces the recommendations of the first education forum that is held in Benha University in last November.

Signing Cooperation Protocol between Benha University and Rennes University

    The University council approves that there is a cooperation protocol between Benha University and Rennes University. Prof. Dr. El-Sayed Fouda, the dean of the faculty of law at Benha University signs the protocol with Prof. Dr. Julian budu, the dean of the faculty of law at the University of Rennes during his visit to France. The protocol sets forth that curriculums should be classified into two parts: the parts that will be taught using the French language and the parts that will be taught using Arabic language. Prof. Dr. El-Sayed Fouda, the dean of the faculty of law indicates that this protocol will be put into action in Mars, 2017 when the president of the University of Rennes meets the president of the University of Benha to initiate the academic year 2017/2018.
