Under the presidency of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University; the University Council has approved to create a unit for Entrepreneurship and Innovation to disseminate the culture of creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship between students, faculty members and staff at the level of the University's faculties.

Within the 25th Annual Conference of the European Association of Institutions in Higher Education “EURASHE” which held on Wednesday, 15/04/2015 until Friday, 17/04/2015; Benha University has participated a workshop about the European Rank “U-Multirank”. It is worth mentioning that the University has been represented by Prof. Dr. Ghazy M.R. Assassa, the Advisor to the University President for Information Technology and the University Chief Information Officer 'CIO'.

       Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University has received a delegation from the embassy of USA in Cairo under the presidential of Mr. Adnan Sedky, the Advisor of the Cultural and Information Affairs at the embassy and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches' Affairs.

         The General Union of Students, Benha University has organized a party to honor the orphans and the elderly under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President; Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development; Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs.
