Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University has received a delegation headed by Dr. Mayumi Terrano, the President of the Japanese International Cooperation Agency “JICA” in the presence of Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs and Prof. Dr. Sameh Nada, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering in Benha. 

With coordination of the Student Unions of Universities, Benha University has won 6 medals in Ain Shams University Forum for the People with Special Needs under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President and Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs.

Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University received a delegation from the French Embassy in Cairo to discuss the cooperation ways between the University and the Embassy. The delegation included Mr. Antoine Heinz Berg, the Relations Officer between the Embassy and Universities and Mrs. Sally Nosir, Campus Officer in the Embassy.

Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University has participated in the events of the China–Egypt University Presidents Forum hosted by Cairo University and with participation of 20 Presidents of Egyptian Universities and the same of Chinese Universities.
The President of Benha University said that Forum discusses the cooperation ways between the Egyptian and Chinese Universities to open the ways of research, development, improvement, innovation and creativity.

Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University has received a delegation from the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD, Cairo under the presidency of Dr. Roman Luckscheiter and professors from the University of Cologne, Germany in the fields of agriculture and medicine by the attendance of Dr. Gamal Ismail, the University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs; Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs; and Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches' Affairs

Benha University has participated in the events of the European Standards and Guidelines in Higher Education Conference 2016 which held in the Dutch capital of Amsterdam in the duration from Monday, 14/03/2016 to Tuesday, 15/03/2016 in the presence of Mr. Alexandre Wipf, the Secretary General of EURASHE.
It is worth mentioning that the University has been represented by Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ghanem, the Director of E-learning Center.

Dr. Mosbeh El Kohiely, the General Manager of the Youth Welfare Department in Benha University said that the Scientific and Technological Activity participated in the 8th Scientific Forum of the Egyptian Universities which organized by Helwan University. Hel also referred Benha University got the 1st place between 16 participated universities

In the frame of contribution in developing the higher education, Benha University hosts Dr. John Cavanaugh, the President and CEO of the Consortium of Universities of the Washington Metropolitan Area to discuss the challenges facing higher education institutes on Wednesday, 24/02/2016 at the University Celebrations Hall

Benha University has received in the celebration of the Pathway to Higher Education Project on the occasion of its 12th anniversary since its launching. The celebration has been held at the faculty of engineering, Cairo University. It is worth mentioning that Benha University has been represented by Prof. Dr. Abdo Mahdy, the Coordinator of the Project and Prof. Dr. Mohamed El Sayed, the Director of the Research Services Center.

The Council of Benha University has approved under the presidency of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President and in the presence of his Vice-presidents to increase the reward of Education for all staff of Benha University for 9 months from October to 30 June of each year instead of 2 months only.
