Benha University holds a big ceremony on the occasion of the coronation of the new university’s students’ union in the presence of prof.Dr. Hussien Magraby, the acting university president, the faculties’ deans, the deputies and prof.Dr. Khalid Eswai, the coordinator of the students’ activities.

The students’ union elections result in the wining of Ahmed Islam of the faculty of engineering(shubra) as he gets 22 votes while his opponent Hussien EL-Sadek get 6 votes in addition to having a false vote. The election is supervised by prof.Dr. Hussien Magraby, the acting university’s president and the head of the higher committee of the elections and it was managed by prof.Dr. Khalid Esawi, the coordinator of the students’ activities, prof.Dr. Muhammad Mansur, the deputy of the faculty of law, prof.Dr. Moshbeh EL-Kehily, the general manager of the youth care department and two top students in the students’ activities.

Benha University’s council chooses three professors in the university-president selection committee. This selection takes place on Sunday under the presidency of prof.Dr. Hussien Magraby and prof.Dr. Alaa Abd EL-Halim.

 Benha University’s leaders council honors the winning students in the sixth young researchers conference which is held in Aswan University from 5-2-2017 to 7-2-2017. It is important to say that Benha University participates with seven researches in the fields of medicine, science, engineering, agricultural, computer and informatics. The students who participate in the conference are as following; student/ Ahmed Yasser from the faculty of science, student/ Amany Muhammad from the faculty of education, the students / Mona Red and Ayman Gamil from the faculty of agriculture, the students/ Yasser Mahmoud and Muhammad Ahmed from the faculty of engineering and student / nourhan Muhammad from the faculty of applied arts.
