Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, BU president meets with the Somali students in the university in the presence of prof.Dr. Ahmed Youssef, the head of the foreign students’ administration. EL-Gizaway asserts that this meeting comes in accordance with the university’s keenness to keep an eye on the conditions of the Somali students and listen to their opinions for having a proper educational process urging them to socialize with their Egyptian peers in the different students’ activities. He also adds that the university is keen to invest in our alumni and offer them high-quality services.

Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, BU president announces that the University obtains the position of 1106 around the world as per the international ranking of Web metrics for January 2024. There are 30,000 Universities which has participated in this international ranking. The university obtains the 25^th position among 1362 Arab Universities, the 20^th position among 2057 African universities and the 8^th position among 79 Egyptian Universities. Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, BU president announces that the website of military education of Benha University has been launched to open the door for the interested participants to get enrolled in the military education training courses. This comes in accordance with the strategic plan of the University to computerize the different departments and Egypt’s vision 2030. Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, BU president congratulates his holiness Pope/ Tawdros the second of Alexandria and the Archpriest/ Sergios Sergios, the cathedral’s vice head in EL-Abbassiyya on Christmas. He also congratulates of the priest/ Machismos of Benha, the priest/ Morkos of Quswenia, and the priest/ Emeil Anwar Salib, the pastor of Benha Angelical church. At last, he wishes Egypt to be prosperous and successful.

Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, BU president announces that there is a new ministerial decree to renew the appointment of Ms. Nermin Yehia Abu EL-Kheir as the head of administrative affairs in Benha University.

Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, BU president conduct, today’s evening, a tour to inspect the exams of the 1^st semester in the faculty of science. He was accompanied by prof.Dr. Nehad EL-Barkoky, the acting dean of the faculty, the faculty’s vice deans and the professors. EL-Gizaway conducts the tour to make sure that everything is up and running and the students are having the best services to answer the questions of the exam properly.

Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, BU president welcomes the musician/ Hany Shonoda and the composer/ Farouk Salama in his office, today, on the sidelines of the cultural saloon of music and singing. This is done in the presence of prof.Dr. Hany Shehata, the vice dean of the community service and environment development in the faculty of specific education, prof.Dr. Khalid Esawi, the coordinator of the students’ activities, and Ms. Rania Motaz, the assistant secretary-general of the community service and environment development.

 Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, BU president welcomes the external accreditation teams from the national authority of education quality management and accreditation to endorse 17 academic programs in several faculties. This is done in the presence of prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, the vice president of educational and students affairs, prof.Dr. EL-Sayed Fouda, the vice president of community services and environment development, prof.Dr. Mahmoud EL-Zabalaway, the dean of the faculty of agriculture in Moshtohor, prof.Dr. Abdel Momean Shams EL-Din EL-Kornfolly, the dean of the faculty of applied arts, and prof.Dr. Mohamed Ghanem, the head of quality management and accreditation in the University.

Major General Abdel Hamid El Hagan, Qalyoubia Governor and Prof. Dr. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President opened the hall of the Late Prof. Hossam Elattar, the Founder and the 1st President of the University at the Campus in Obour.
I this regard, Qalyoubia Governor and BU President honored the family of Prof. Hossam Elattar and gave them the University Shield. They also honored Prof. Safwat Zahran, ex-president of the University; Prof. Ali Shams Eldin, ex-president of the University; and Prof. Elsayed Elkady, the former president of the University in the presence of Eng. Hany Dahy, ex-minister of transportations and the Engineers Syndicate in addition to a number of previous Vice-presidents and leaders for the University.

Under the auspices of Prof. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President; the University participated in the Virtual Forum for Higher Education between China, France, and Africa which organized by the Chinese Wuhan University in the duration from 29 to 30 October 2020 under the title of " Higher education under the impact of the Corona epidemic". The forum included two main topics, namely the development of teaching methods in higher education and the possibility of using international relations between educational institutions in training their employees. The official language of the conference was French.
It is worth mentioning that Benha University was represented by Prof. Hassan El Bahrawy, the professor of French literature at the faculty of arts.
