The Benha University Council, chaired by Prof. Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of the University, honored the faculties that won the Best Website Competition, in the presence of Eng. Ayman Attia, Governor of Qalyubia; Prof. Dr. Gehan Abdel Hady, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; and Prof. Dr. Taha Ashour, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.

Dr. El-Gizawy stated that the faculties winning the top positions were: Shoubra Faculty of Engineering, which secured first place; the Faculty of Sports Sciences in second place; and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in third place. He added that such competitions aim to foster a spirit of competition among faculties and improve the quality of their websites.

On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saeed Abdelghaffar, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Shoubra, extends his sincere thanks and appreciation to:

for their outstanding efforts and effective contributions to developing the faculty’s website, which played a key role in achieving first place in the Best Website Competition at Benha University.

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, and Prof. Dr. Gehan Abdel Hady, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, the Digital Library at Benha University, in cooperation with the Digital Library Unit at the Supreme Council of Universities, is organizing a workshop on how to benefit from the resources of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank.

The workshop will be delivered by lecturers from the Supreme Council of Universities and publishers of international databases available through the Egyptian Knowledge Bank.

The workshop will be held on Sunday and Monday, November 16–17, 2025, at Tahya Misr Hall, Faculty of Physical Therapy.

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced the appointment of new vice deans and department heads across the faculties of Benha University.

The decisions included the appointment of Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Ibrahim, Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering at Shoubra, as Chairman of the Electrical Engineering Department, and the appointment of Dr. Amr Ali Gamal El-Din, Professor in the Civil Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering at Shoubra, as Chairman of the Civil Engineering Department.

On this occasion, Prof. Mohamed Saeed Abdelghaffar, Dean of the Faculty, along with the Vice Deans, Heads of Academic Departments, the Faculty Secretary (General Director), and the administrative staff, extend their sincere congratulations and best wishes, wishing them continued success in their new roles.
