The Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) announces the opening of applications for Mobility Projects to be included ضمن the Egyptian-French scientific cooperation program “Imhotep,” during the period from January 12 to April 19, 2026.
The program covers a wide range of research fields, including:
Water, new and renewable energy, health and biotechnology, mathematics, physics, earth and space sciences, chemistry, humanities and social sciences, tourism and education, engineering, information and communication technology, and agriculture.
The project duration is 24 months, with funding of EGP 300,000 per year for each project.
Deadline for submission: April 19, 2026

Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, has issued decisions appointing:

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Salah, Professor in the Geomatics Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering in Shoubra, as Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.

Prof. Dr. Islam Nazmy, Professor in the Architectural Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering in Shoubra, as Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.
On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saeed Abdelghaffar, Dean of the Faculty, extends his sincere congratulations to Prof. Dr. Islam Nazmy on her appointment as Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and to Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Salah on his appointment as Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.
