My dear sons and daughters, students,

I am pleased to welcome you and wish you all success and prosperity in your academic and professional lives at our faculty... "Faculty of Engineering at Shoubra."

The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector is considered one of the three pillars through which the faculty's vision and strategic objectives are achieved. The Faculty of Engineering at Shoubra, in addition to its role in education, learning, and scientific research, strives to achieve integration and connection with society through developmental and environmental initiatives aimed at enhancing community participation for both the internal and external communities of the faculty.

The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector takes the initiative to implement policies included in the National Strategy of the Arab Republic of Egypt (Egypt's Vision 2030), through various activities including seminars, workshops, cooperation protocols, and practical and field training for students. This is coupled with a commitment to providing qualifying programs to integrate graduates into the job market and fostering joint cooperation in applied research projects.

The sector also contributes to providing distinguished consulting services, participating in solving environmental problems, and raising environmental awareness through continuous communication with civil society, with the aim of building extended bridges between the faculty and societal needs.

Finally, I invite all colleagues from the faculty members, teaching assistants, employees, and our dear students to exert effort and cooperate to enhance the spirit of belonging to the homeland.
