Vision and Mission

The department aims to prepare outstanding students in the fields of physics, mathematics, chemistry, and applied mathematics to meet the needs of other departments in the faculty. This is achieved by providing high-quality educational programs that align with standards of excellence, promoting cognitive growth, and equipping students with essential skills in these key subjects, which form the foundation for subsequent studies across all scientific disciplines. The department also strives to raise awareness among students about avoiding harmful political currents and fostering a sense of belonging to our beloved country, Egypt.

Department Goals

1. Equip students with skills and knowledge in physics, mathematics, applied mathematics, and chemistry, keeping pace with modern scientific advancements.

2. Conduct academic and applied research that serves the community and the environment.

3. Ensure the department is one of the most dynamic, effective, and competitive departments within the faculty, as well as among similar departments in universities across Egypt and internationally.

4. Encourage scientific research among faculty members and their assistants, fostering collaboration with research institutions in Egypt and abroad, and motivating them to publish in internationally recognized and peer-reviewed journals with high impact factors.
