As part of the Faculty of Engineering, Shoubra’s commitment to student training and its ongoing role in providing support and connecting students with the latest technologies and expertise in the professional field to help them keep up with technological advancements and labor market demands, a Cooperation Protocol was signed on Sunday, March 2, 2025, between the Faculty of Engineering, Shoubra, and CAD Masters.
Under this protocol, original Autodesk software will be provided for educational use in the faculty’s academic departments, enabling students to align with market requirements and gain practical training to enhance their skills. CAD Masters will also organize workshops and competitions for students using the provided software.
Additionally, the company will offer:

Certificates of attendance for training courses to any faculty student.

Project completion certificates for any faculty student who wishes to obtain one, at a nominal issuance fee, provided they use one of Autodesk’s programs.

Ten fully funded scholarships for outstanding students.

Train-the-Trainer (TOT) courses for faculty-nominated trainers.
-
Specialized training with accredited certificates in Autodesk, Tekla, Rhinoceros, Bentley, and Maxwell Render.

A special 45% discount on all its courses for faculty members and students.

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Gamal Abdelaziz, Dean of the Faculty, the Community Service Sector at the Faculty of Engineering, Shoubra - Benha University, organized the Fourth Annual Training and Employment Forum for the faculty’s students and graduates on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at the faculty’s campuses in Khalafawy and Rod El-Farag. The event was attended by 51 companies and factories, including some of the largest firms operating in various engineering fields, with the aim of providing training and employment opportunities for the faculty’s students and graduates.
This major engineering event reflects the faculty’s commitment to fostering communication and support for its distinguished students and graduates through the employment exhibition, career talks, professional and technical guidance sessions, and specialized technical skills workshops. Additionally, several companies delivered lectures inside the hall alongside the exhibition held in the faculty courtyard.
At the conclusion of the forum, the Dean of the Faculty, in the presence of the Vice Dean for Community Service, department heads, and several faculty members, held a meeting with the participating companies. During the meeting, the Dean provided an overview of the history and legacy of the Faculty of Engineering, Shoubra, highlighting its community services and contributions to major national projects. He also emphasized the faculty’s need for the industrial sector’s role in enhancing students’ skills, providing training opportunities, and securing employment prospects for the faculty’s graduates.
