Prof. Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced the selection of several university professors to join the specialized councils of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology. He noted that the selection came following the nomination of Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, as part of the restructuring of the Academy’s specialized councils.

These 20 specialized councils cover all fields of science, technology, and innovation, serving as national think tanks and centers of expertise and strategic knowledge.

From the Faculty of Engineering at Shoubra, both Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Omar Mosleh and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Magdy Fawzy were selected as members of the Industrial Technology Research Council.

On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Gamal Abdelaziz, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Shoubra, extended his sincere congratulations to Dr. Ahmed Omar Mosleh and Dr. Mohamed Magdy Fawzy on their selection. He wished them continued success in their new national roles and in contributing to the advancement of scientific and technological research in Egypt.

Today, Tuesday, ِApril 15, 2025, the Faculty Council was held under the chairmanship of Professor Dr. Gamal Abdelaziz, Dean of the Faculty, in the presence of the vice deans, department heads, and a group of professors and faculty members who are council members.

The Faculty of Engineering, Shoubra, organized a grand Iftar gathering, bringing together its entire community, including current and former leadership, faculty members, administrative staff, alumni from across the faculty’s history, and students. The event was filled with an atmosphere of warmth and camaraderie, strengthening the sense of belonging among the faculty’s members.

Prof. Dr. Gamal Abdelaziz, Dean of the Faculty, expressed his great happiness at the success of this special occasion, which united different generations of graduates and faculty members in a friendly gathering that reflects the deep connection to this prestigious academic institution. He extended his sincere gratitude and appreciation to everyone who contributed to organizing and making the event a success, as well as to all those who accepted the invitation and participated in this memorable gathering.
