In line with Egypt's Vision 2030 and the presidential initiative “Tahalof wa Tanmeya” (“Alliance and Development”), which is supported and sponsored by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and in accordance with the objectives of the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research launched in March 2023 — innovation and entrepreneurship are among the key pillars of this national strategy.

The “Alliance and Development” initiative represents an important step toward achieving comprehensive development in Egypt. It aims to transform educational institutions and research bodies into entities that support creativity and innovation.

Accordingly, the unit adopts the concept of promoting and supporting a culture of creativity and innovation among members of the Faculty of Engineering at Shoubra across various engineering disciplines. It encourages faculty members and affiliates to prepare future leaders and entrepreneurs by providing the necessary support to innovators. This, in turn, contributes to building exceptional human capacities that enhance the growth rate of the national economy.
