Program Mission
Industrial Systems Engineering Program is committed to prepare a qualified graduate for distinguished career paths in the field of industrial engineering; equipped with the competencies and skills that qualify him to compete in the local and regional labor markets, and he also can innovate, entrepreneurship and conduct applied research that contributes to solving community problems within a framework of values and social responsibility.
Program Educational Objectives
Industrial Systems Engineering Program prepares its graduates to become intellectual leaders in industry. Graduates are grounded in scientific, mathematical, and technical knowledge and relevant technologies that give them the ability to analyze and design industrial engineering systems. The Industrial systems Engineering Program aims to:
PEO#1: Providing students with the ability to apply knowledge in mathematics and science to model problems related to industrial and service systems.
PEO#2: Providing students with basic knowledge in various fields of industrial engineering such as production management, total quality management, maintenance operations management, occupational health and safety management and environmental management, in addition to risk assessment and computer applications.
PEO#3: Providing students with the ability to identify and formulate optimal solutions to system problems, considering the natural and economic constraints in addition to safety and ergonomics requirements.
PEO#4: Develop effective communication skills and teamwork among students to instill attitudes and ethics of the profession to prepare graduates to work in modern and complex environments, as well as provide them with continuous learning skills.
PEO#5: Strengthening the role of community participation and linking scientific research with national trends and community issues
