Faculty of Engineering - Shoubra is located in Shoubra, Cairo. It consists of two main buildings.
The primary building of the Faculty of Engineering is situated in the heart of Shoubra on the main Shoubra Street. This location is distinguished by its strategic position in a vibrant area with a high population density and extensive urban development. The main building houses the administrative structure of the faculty, including the Dean’s office, the offices of the Vice Deans, scientific departments, and all administrative units. It contains 20 lecture halls with a total capacity of approximately 2,500 students. This building accommodates students from all scientific departments, starting from the second year up to the bachelor's level.
The secondary building of the faculty is located not far from the main building, in the Khalafawy Square area of Shoubra, which is also a vibrant urban zone. A new building with ten floors is currently under construction to provide additional space for workshops, lecture halls, and services for students and the community. The secondary building hosts large numbers of preparatory year students, as it includes the primary lecture halls and workshops, as well as first-year students from all departments.
Both the main and secondary buildings are conveniently located near metro lines, which significantly facilitates transportation for students and staff involved in the educational process.
