Program Vision
The Communications and Computer Engineering Program aspires to excellence and leadership in the field of communications and computer engineering, aiming to be an educational beacon for serving the community and graduating engineers capable of advancing the nation's development.
Program Mission
The Communications and Computer Engineering Program is committed to preparing graduates who possess the knowledge and skills [1] that qualify them to compete in the labor market locally and regionally, [2] assist them in conducting research studies [3] for scientific and professional development [4], and contribute to spreading the culture of innovation, entrepreneurship [5], and societal responsibility within the framework of professional ethical standards [6].
Program Educational Objectives
The Communications and Computer Engineering (CEC) Program prepares its graduates to become intellectual leaders in the industry. Graduates are grounded in scientific, mathematical, and technical knowledge and relevant technologies, equipping them with the ability to analyze, synthesize, and design engineering systems. The program aims to:
PEO#1: Establish students’ understanding of the basics of communications engineering, computer systems, and software, and provide them with the ability to operate and design different systems in those fields.
PEO#2: Prepare graduates with effective communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to cooperate across disciplines, enabling them to assume responsibility while upholding societal values and professional ethics.
PEO#3: Equip engineers with the ability to solve problems, update and develop their specialized field, contributing to economic growth.
PEO#4: Qualify graduates to work in communication systems or computer science and software, utilizing the latest technologies in those areas and competing in local and regional markets.
PEO#5: Prepare graduates to apply the foundations of engineering sciences, logical analysis, and deduction to pursue advanced research studies in communications engineering and computer systems.
PEO#6: Provide an educational environment and teaching methods that foster students' creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
