Field Training and Career Guidance Unit
Message from the Unit Director
Field training for the college’s students is considered one of the fundamental graduation requirements and a key element in preparing students for the post-graduation stage. The aim of field training is to build engineering experience in the student’s area of specialization by developing practical skills, exploring various career paths within the field, and providing opportunities for hands-on application and interaction with professionals. This greatly contributes to building a strong foundation for their professional future and success in engineering fields.
Therefore, the Faculty of Engineering at Shoubra, through the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector and the Field Training and Career Guidance Unit, strives to establish partnerships and cooperation protocols with both public and private engineering sectors. The goal is to annually provide high-quality, distinctive field training opportunities that enhance the students’ practical skills by engaging them in real work and production sites during summer vacations, promoting teamwork, communication, and commitment to technical work requirements.
