On Thursday, April 2, 2026, Professor Dr. Mohamed Said Abdel Ghaffar, Dean of the Faculty, held a meeting with Professor Dr. Mahmoud El-Samanty, Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department, in the presence of graduation project students (Robotics).

This comes in implementation of the directives of Professor Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of the University, regarding the necessity of supporting the graduation projects system, enhancing the role of applied scientific research, and encouraging innovation and creativity among students. This contributes to preparing qualified engineering cadres capable of competing in the labor market and keeping pace with rapid technological developments.

The meeting witnessed a comprehensive review and discussion of the graduation projects, where students presented detailed presentations of their projects, clarifying the design ideas and mechanisms used in implementation, reflecting a distinguished level of scientific thinking and innovation.

In light of the adverse weather conditions on Thursday, April 2, 2026, Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, has decided to suspend in-person classes and postpone midterm exams for the day, in order to ensure equal opportunities for all students.

The University President also directed faculty deans to continue lectures through the online learning system according to the announced schedules.

This decision excludes medical staff, university security personnel, student housing staff, occupational health and safety departments, on-duty shifts, and employees whose presence is necessary to ensure the proper management and operation of the university and its faculties.
