In this modern era, electrical engineering products and services surround us in every aspect of life. The electricity we enjoy in our homes and offices, electronic devices, and control systems within various setups—from vehicles and aircraft to manufacturing and production systems—are all contributions of electrical engineering. Additionally, communication systems, electronics, networks, and the internet, along with their applications across diverse fields, are integral parts of this discipline.

Recognizing this, the importance of establishing the Electrical Engineering and Control Program under the credit-hour system becomes evident. The program is committed to delivering a distinguished educational service that not only adapts to global scientific and technological advancements but also meets the demands of the local community in this critical field.

The Electrical Engineering and Control Program equips its students to excel in industrial sectors (such as communication systems, power generation plants, various manufacturing industries, basic industries, and military industries), independent careers (including consultancy, contracting, and manufacturing), and government positions. Furthermore, the program prepares engineers across various branches of electrical engineering, including power systems, high-voltage engineering, control systems, and motion systems, qualifying them to design, develop, maintain, and manage diverse systems in these areas.

The program is also keened to continuously develop its academic courses to align with labor market needs and developmental planning requirements.
