Faculty of Engineering at Shoubra – Benha University Achieves a New Milestone in the Egyptian Collegiate Programming Contest
In a remarkable achievement adding to its record of successes, two teams from the Faculty of Engineering at Shoubra have qualified for the Arab and African Collegiate Programming Contest, after securing top rankings in the finals of the Egyptian Collegiate Programming Contest (ECPC).
The national contest witnessed the participation of over 2,000 teams from Egyptian universities, with 300 teams advancing to the finals.
Prof. Dr. Aly Abdel Aziz, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Salah, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Lamiaa El-Refaie, Head of the Electrical Engineering Department, extended their congratulations to the students, faculty members, and trainers for this outstanding achievement that reflects the high level of skills and dedication of the college’s students.
The qualification of the two teams to compete at the Arab and African level represents a significant milestone, showcasing Benha University in one of the largest university-level programming contests in the region. The competition serves as a gateway to the World Finals, supported by leading global tech companies such as Google, Microsoft, and Amazon.
