     Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University; the University will organize the 1st scientific conference of libraries and information in the duration from 24/11 to 25/11/2015 under the title of “Challenges of the University Libraries in the 3rd Millennium”.

      Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University has received Prof. Dr. Hussein Eissa, the President of Ain Shams University to discuss the ways of cooperation between the two Universities in the various fields in the presence of Prof. Dr. Adel El Adawy, the Professor at the Faculty of Medicine and the Previous Minister of Health and Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students’ Affairs.

          Mr. Kim Yong Soo, the Korean Ambassador in Cairo; Eng. Mohamed Abdel Zaher, the Governor of Qalyoubia; Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University; Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development; Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches' Affairs will open on next Tuesday the events of the Korean Cultural Week hosted by Benha University for the second year consecutively. 

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches’ Affairs; the Sector of Postgraduate Studies and Researches’ Affairs organizes a workshop about the techniques of using Endnote which aims to improve skills of the young researches in writing the scientific researches. The workshop will be held on Tuesday, 24/11/2015 at Banque Misr Hall in the University.

    The Egyptian Information Telecommunications, Electronics & Software Alliance (Eitesal) calls for a meeting with the member companies to study the cooperation between the industry and the professors of the universities and the scientific research to provide new products and develop research ideas that may be transformed to innovated products by industry. The Professors and Students of Benha University have organized a massive rally in Sharm El Sheikh on Saturday within the events of the University initiative to activate and support the tourism for reducing the tourism crisis after the Russian plane crash. It is worth mentioning that the University Council will be held at Salam City in Sharm El Sheikh.

     In the presence of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University and the representatives of the strategic planning in the faculties in addition to the University leaders; the workshop No.31 has been held at the University main building to present the position of the strategic plan of each faculty and put a plan for the central team to set the University strategy. 

      In the frame of Benha University policy for openness to the world and building a strong partnership with the global universities; Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abu Salem, the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine has visited Ohio State University in the United States of America to discuss the cooperation ways between the two Universities in the field of veterinary science.

    Under the presidency of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University; the University Council has approved to nominate Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mohamedin, the former President of Suez Canal University for the State Incentive Award for his position as one of the Engineering leading scientists.
